The first Harvey Beaks episode I wrote on airs this Sunday! “The Negatives of Being Positively Charged” is actually the second episode Chris and I wrote and boarded together, but it’s one of my favorites. Shane Houghton wrote the story (and did an amazing job).
This episode was a real challenge for us because it’s a quieter, more emotional story than we’re used to - so we had to figure out how to keep it funny, but also not undercut the serious parts with the jokes. I actually really like how it turned out, and I’m super excited for everyone to see it (alongside Hannah and Brandon’s next episode, The Finger) on Sunday @ 7:00 PT/ET on Nickelodeon!

5:15pm - 6:15pm: The Legend of Korra: Book 4 panel in Empire Stage 1-E. Co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Mike DiMartino will be joined by voice stars Janet Varney (Korra), David Faustino (Mako), and PJ Byrne (Bolin) for a look at the making of Book 4 and the premiere of an upcoming episode!
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10TH

11am - 12:50pm: The Legend of Korra signing at the Dark Horse booth with co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Mike DiMartino. (WRISTBAND REQUIRED. Wristbands will be distributed by drawing in the Dark Horse booth on Saturday and Sunday at show opening.)
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11TH

2:15pm - 3pm: Avatar Legacy Fan Panel moderated by Avatar Mom in room 1A06 with panelists Monica McClain (Illustrator/Art Instructor), Alison Wilgus (Artist/Writer), Kevin Coppa (Puppetbender Creator), Sifu Manuel Rodriguez (Martial Arts Choreographer for Toph Beifong), and Jessie Flower (Voice of Toph Beifong). The panel will be all about Avatar: The Last Airbender art, history, demonstrations, and stories- plus a live comic reading from Dark Horse Comics’ The Rift. Attending cosplayers may win books and signed original Legend of Korra animation drawings donated by Studio Mir!
